For day parking we suggest , dropping off kit with us and then parking at the Riverside Park Car park a 5 minute walk away, there is small reasonable charge for all day parking.
For Multi Day trippers - we are happy to provide a shuttle to our warehouse 3 miles away in Highworth where parking is free. Alternatively there is secure parking available at the Bridge House Campsite in Lechlade for a very reasonable fee.
Buoyancy Aid (PFD) – Fully approved and tested – all carrying the CE mark
Dry bag or storage barrel
Roof carrying straps (for customers taking kit).
What to Bring :
You don't require specialist kit but we would recommend you wear general outdoor clothing you don't mind getting wet. Cotton tends to stay wet meaning you get cold, so jeans are out. Cycling or running kit or indeed walking kit works well as well as thinner layers.
Lightweight outdoor jackets work well as they don't absorb water and can protect you from the wind. Trainers or sports sandals are all fine but your feet tend to be the first thing that gets wet.
We recommend bringing some spare dry clothes, we have lots of dry bags - Its nice to be able to put on a dry top when you finish.
Do bring plenty of water and a snack and or picnic and of course sun cream and some cash to buy that well earned drink at the finish line.
For Doubles Canoes and Kayaks - 2 paddles and 2 Buoyancy Aids are provided
For family canoes - 2 adult buoyancy aids, 2 adult paddles, 2 children’s buoyancy Aids, 2 child’s paddles provided.
The following charges are per group regardless of number and a single charge per drop off or collection. Non specified collection locations are possible subject to access and will be quoted based on time and distance from our HQ at Lechlade.
Please note , we are only able to carry our own equipment but we will take private equipment when carried at the same time as our own hire kit, subject to available space. i.e a collection of 3 hire canoes plus 1 private canoe owned by a group member.
We can easily accommodate groups up to 13 people with our minibus and will take larger groups with sufficient notice.
